First of all you would need to check the materials on which the jigsaw is cutting. There's a circular knob that have different materials and it's photo of it. Second, sometimes the Jigsaw inserted incorrectly. Check the front of the base of the jigsaw and you'll see a black lever. Lift it in order to insert the blade and make sure to insert the blade with the sharp side facing outwards.
