Software updatefor Kodak Z1015is

My Z1015 never  worked correctly; stalls, hangs-up and battery meter claims there is no life left and cycles out the camera.  But when you put a meter to the batteries they come up 2.97 - 3.5 volts.   Found updates on line but they never open properly.

Any one?
