Use a flat tool like an isesamo to take the side covers off. they are attached with adhesive. The side with the buttons has a small board underneath that can be taken out with the isesamo (just has adhesive) and care taking out the cable thats attached to it (standard flex cable with a small latch lock) . However there is a smaller board soldered to the main board underneath that. It has adhesive on it, so try not to lay that side down on anything because when you lift the pulse to take other screws out you may rip it off. there will be around 4 cables that sprout out each side attached to connectors. Remove the tape around it and take them out to access the two screws underneath that. There are two on the other side same position and one it the middle that needs a smaller philips. After carefully pull the pulse apart. I started from the side that doesnt have the plastic black latch. the charging port looks like its connected to a small circuit board thats connected to cables much like a dc jack in a laptop. Thats as far as I got because i couldnt get the part and dont have the right tools to un-solder and solder a new one correctly.
