sometimes if you do not use the original charger and cord then the device will not get enough amperage to charge. i have had this happen with many tablets. also sometimes it can be the charger part is messed up or lose and finally the battery could just be messed up. try a differ charger to see if that works and if you can try to replace the battery and see if that makes a difference. i hope this helps and good luck on your issue
