Is my mid-2012 MBP overheating?

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

My mid-2012 retina 15" MBP has been getting increasingly hot for the past year or so. I think the trackpad has been causing some minor damage to the nerves in my fingertips (either from heat or worn-out finish, if that's possible).

These days, the CPU temperature typically gets somewhere around 160℉ and the palm rest temp gets somewhere around 85℉. [http://bit.ly/1OCn7HJ|You can view a full temperature breakdown here.]

Are these normal operating temperatures? If not, what kind of tests can I run to determine what the problem is or what parts I might need to replace (fans, heat sink, etc)?]
