S3 Sensor Lens on new display too dark

I have replaced display on an S3. Let me start by saying this is like no other display I have seen from an S3. it looks like it is not AMOLED display but in fact an LCD as the backlight is different, like a sony xperia Z. the IC on the flex is also different. i think this is a 100% copy

anyway, the lens for the proximity sensor is too dark so it's always on. does anybody have any suggestions?
