Jaqueline Osorio five years is a long time for water damage. You could either have plenty of corrosion on the board that causes this issue or it is something totally unrelated. If it has worked since the initial water damage but just started recently to freeze, I'd be thinking that it is a firmware issue. If it has not been working since the water damage, you will have to take your phone apart and take a look at the mother board.
