Damage ribbon between logic and WWAN boards

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

Hello

whilst tearing down an IPAD2 A1397 (wifi only) to replace the battery, I have mistakenly cut slightly into the ribbon which attaches what appears to be called a WWAN board to the longer motherboard.

Is this just for power and therefore am I able to just glue back on or is this for data? Can I order a replacement module and stick back together or do i need to replace the overall motherboard with this module in tact, in which case it isnt going to be economical to repair.

Any one know much about this module please?

Thanks
