My T100 wont power on after being plugged in all day

It was on AC power unused over 8 hours and when I powered on my T100 nothing happened. I have reviewed all the previous questions, as well as, troubleshooting with several other sources across the internet. There seems to be a solution related to " resetting" the battery;however, I have not been able to find the actual factory recommended method for a battery reset. Also, this T100 model has an internal battery.
Is this a possible solution?
If so, please provide detailed instructions.
