I have exactly the same issue !

I 've replaced the usb connector like you, but i still have the problem :(

Actually, i have a clamp that grips my Nexus 5 to make it work.

I don't know if the issue comes from the connector or another part of the board, but i'd like to fix it !!

Unfortunately, i don't have a solution for you !
