I tried everything on my 2007 Buick Terraza. The chime would sound even when the door was closed, the button to open and close the door only worked part of the time, and sometimes the door would even open when driving down the road. I tried all the suggestions I could find and nothing worked. Even the mechanic was stumped. So I "fixed" it permanantly.
