My ASUS UX31 Failed upgrading microsoft 10 and erased operating system. All my data stucked in. How can I fix it?
I have an ASUS UX31. When Microsoft offered me to upgrade to 10, without backing my computer up, I started to install. But unfortunately, it did not complete. Now I cant run my laptop, because there is only a message saying " missing operating system".
To save my data, I bought the adapter (http://www.ebay.de/itm/SATA-Adapter-USB-Kabel-fur-ASUS-EP121-UX31-SANDISK-ADATA-XM11-SSD-2-5-3-5-DL-/251704310535?hash=item3a9abefb07:g:DwwAAOSwyTZUWGnp) and inserted my sandisk hard drive. I plugged both usb connectors to another working computer but, it says "you can use it after having formatted" I don't want to lose my data.
I may not have properly protected the HD by using anti static bag, may I have lost it or do I need additional software to read the contents of my laptops main Hard drive?? May you help me out?
