I was able to overcome this issue of error 4005 by replacing both screen and the battery. I also updated my iTunes. After the two hardwares were replace, I was able to Update from a DFU mode.

When I had this error 4005, I also had some lines of random code appearing on the screen and I was quite concerned. But I am so glad that I was able to correct the problem.
