I want to use adhesive E6000 instead of oem adhesive.

the adhesive E6000 seems to be really good, but I'm worried after it has cured completely I wont be able to separate the pieces apart again. has anyone tried this and use heat to separate things apart again?
I have already deep cleaned before applying the OEM provided adhesive, tried with heat and holding down for several minutes, and it just doesn't stay in place. I would like to have back the waterproofing.
