If the computer was still on when you spilled the liquid on it then it may have fried some of the circuits, not all, but just enough so that the lights will work but not the keys. It would be best that if you spill liquid on a keyboard to get a replacement. If the computer was not on when you spilled the liquid on it then it would be best to take the keys off and make sure that the circuits are completely dry before turning the device back on to avoid damaging it.
