Hi- I upgraded my mini recently with a 8GB compact flash card and new generic battery. At the same time I replaced a balky headphone jack purchased from ifixit.
Everything works except the jack. I can't get any sound at all. the part was very difficult to fit back in properly so I'm assuming it just isn''t quite in right.
Any thoughts or tips about this particular repair? The battery was also a bit stubborn. It was just a millimeter or two wider than the original and caused some fit issues with the jack. Thanks.
