Loss of power when touching top left, after screen replacement

Hi all
As per title.. I change the screen on my unit. Now when the top left is touched/pushed, the whole unit powers down.
I took the screen off and sure enough.. when I touch the metal frame under the screen - loss of power. If I touch the plastic outer frame, no power loss.
Seems like a ground issue maybe but I have no idea where or how?
Help!
