digitizer replacement,touch works but not properly

I bought a screen with digitizer on ebay and followed a tutorial on how to replace it. I did it and the touch works but there are a few places that it doesnt work. Should i take it apart again or is it something else? I made sure not to damage the lcd but maybe i did. If i damaged it would it be responding at all? the only part that is not responding is about a one inch section near the top in landscape mode that goes all the way across the screen. I am using this tablet now so you can see that it is working, i just wanted to fix it so it works like it did before the screen was broken.
