Changing the USB port

Hi,

the 3.0 USB port doesn't work after a water damage. I have waited a few weeks, hoping it could work being dry again but it still doesn't react and is considered as an unknown peripheral device by Windows. Could I replace the USB component or is it better to change the whole keyboard dock, or do you see another solution?
