How to attach Volume/Power Key Ribbon back to phone?

I noticed my power/volume weren't working so I removed the back as per the ifixit guide and found that the ribbon itself has become disconnected. How do I put it back together so it will work? It doesn't seem to slide in or click together like any of my previous phones.
