It sounds like your LCD is dead. You can check the connection to the board for the LCD with [guide|26914|this guide]. Make sure that the display cable is properly seated in its socket and is not loose. If it still will not turn on, you can order the replacement part [product|IF236-000|here], and use the guide I linked to replace the current one.
