It depends on how it was broken. If the connector is loose, it could need re-soldering. If there is an onboard problem--due to heat, power outage, or any number of other factors--you may not be able to fix it without spare parts, replacement components, and/or a schematic.

My advice to you would be to contact the manufacturer. Even outside of warranty, you may find that you are able to get an out-of-warranty service or part replacement at a reasonable price.
