How do I check digitizer version for Surface Pro 3

The digitizer cracked but since where I live, surface isn't being sold officially, I can't have it serviced here, and sending it to the US would incur large import tax fees since I was told it would just be replaced with an alternative unit.
So the obvious solution is to replace it myself, but since the device is still functional and in use, I don't want to open it to check for the versions of the digitizer and screen before I have the replacement parts to install.
Is there a way to check for the versions without opening the device?
