Samsung Galaxy Note II was working fine after the screen had some cracks (from visually I can predict that only the glass was broken not the digital assembly). I was able to pick up the phone and could do everything else.

However suddenly it showed up white screen (during a call) and now if I starts the phone it just shows the white screen. It doesn't ring even if somebody calls, it just goes directly to the voice mail.
Does the screen replacement (with digital assembly) will solve the issue or I would also have to replace something else as now it doesn't even ring or doesn't perform any other tasks?
