It may not be the motherboard. It sounds like you have the same problem I do. My daughter dropped it and it started doing what you described. I changed the motherboard and it's still doing it. Now I'm at a loss because, unless there's a component of the screen that could cause this, I have no idea what could be causing it. I thought for sure it was the motherboard.
