The answer to your question will vary depending on the status of your iPhone.
If you iPhone is jailbroken, then go to Cydia and search for BatteryDoctorPro from BigBoss.
This little utility will help you manage your battery to make it last longer and also show you
the cycle counts ( number of charges ).
If your iPhone isn't, you'll go on google and download the following program: IBackupBot.
This utility will let you access backup from itunes, data from you iPhone and some diagnostics informations such as the cycle counts of your battery simply by plugging your phone in the USB port and starting the application. A windows will show up, then you'll have to click on 'more informations' in order to see the battery information.
If you have any questions, feel free to post it here!
