iPod doesn't show lights/turn on

Hi folks!

I've already tried everything to bring my ipod back to life. Restored using iTunes including. The lights doesn't work. It seems dead, even then I can charge using iTunes. It accepts music, recognized by iTunes but when I switch buttons to shuffle it doesn't work, it simply doesn't play music. What can I do? could be battery, motherboard, logic or something related?
