Got Blue Screen, Can not boot up

Last 4      7VUY            Installed system........ (10.6.8)

When I inserted original install disk,   and clicked erase and install,  I got blue screen.      Am unable to boot up,   and nothing works.

Holding "C" key on start up,  does not work.

Holding "Option" key does not work.

Also,    have screen full of vertical lines.
