Hi everyone. I have a 2009 Macbook Air and the keyboard/trackpad have become unresponsive. They do not work at all at any time of the boot process.

I also have tried an external keyboard and mouse both of which do NOT work. It boots up to the password screen and thats as far as i can get.

Anyone got any ideas? all i can see around forums is fixes for this issue when an en external keyboard/mouse works
