Why? My daughter spilled soda on her MBP. College students! We've cleaned all of the keys, but the trackpad seems to have issues. Yes, she can use a mouse; but that's not convenient as she roams the campus.
I know that the battery is glued down. I was wondering if the iOpener (https://www.ifixit.com/Tools/iOpener/IF145-198-5) described in the 13" mid-2014 repair would also work to liberate the 15" battery.
