My iPad3 Wifi is locked in the „Restore Mode“ (iTunes Symbol + cable on Display). First I got “unknown error 9”, after the release of IOS8 '''“unknown error 4013”'''. I tried everything on different computers (Win/OSX), USB Ports, DFU/Restore Mode, different cables, and so on – the full program with no success.
After endless hours of searching I thought I got the solution – '''the dock connector must be defect'''. Today I opened the iPad with the Ifixit toolset (works great!) and replaced the dock connector. What shall I say, still “unknown error 4013”. I tried some other things: '''Cameras (Front, Back, Front + back) off, Speakers off, Battery reset several times with different cables on different USB Ports at my computer “Unknown error 4013”.'''
Jailbreak Tools doesn’t work cause of the Restore mode.
The iPad lays still open beside me, but I don’t know what more I can do?
