Have just noticed these posts while looking for help on Proximity sensor+ Front camera not working after screen replacement on iPhone 5S. Is the motion sensor= proximity sensor? In this case, might the problem of the magnetic screw apply to my problem?

I have tried 3 times reconnecting the sensor+camera, making sure they fit in tightly (screen came with the proper plastic/metal holders), have check that the small rubber boot is present too. Have done a hard reset. No luck so far.
