Actually, this problem seems to have happened to my iPhone 5 without even opening it. And it has become rather annoying. It was rather difficult to open the iPhone safely with the glass not affixed to the bezel. But now that I have it off and see the problem, I am trying to figure how to fix this???

It was rather difficult to open the iPhone safely with the glass not affixed to the bezel (it is loose and the top and sides, but luckily still firmly attached at the home button). But now that I have the screen off and see the problem, I am trying to figure the best way to fix this???
