I solved the problem. If the audio and sound are not working with your phone, there are a few possibilities that may be causing this. The easiest solution to this would be turning the volume up using the volume buttons on the upper left side of the phone. If the phone was muted then that would explain why the audio and sound were not playing. If this does not work and the volume was already turned up, you should reboot your phone. If neither of these fix the audio problem with your phone, then the speaker is most likely broken and you should refer to the link on how to replace your speaker.
