I agree, Vatku is a genius.  Had the same issue happen tonight with my 2010 i7 MB Pro.  Closed the clamshell lid and pressed hard on the corner near the ESC key.  Done!  My wife was watching the whole thing and was impressed, too.  I thought I was gonna have to take it to the Apple Store and pay them to fix it.  NOT!  Awesome work, Vatku!
