I think by SSD, you are actually referring to PCIe-based flash storage. I too am curious if one goes with the PCI-e storage option, if a 2.5" drive could still be installed. Isn't that what a fusion drive option is? If so, one could in theory have the Apple-installed 1TB PCI-e storage option and add a 1TB SSD. Some help here captain?
