So, if the display is still working, showing colors and light.. You *CAN* conceivably just replace the front glass AND digitizer.

However, this requires separating the front glass and digitizer from the LCD, without harming the LCD. Read: using heat to separate strongly glued together glass components.

It's a pain in the butt.

Really, get a new screen, LCD, Digitizer, front glass, at least. Preferably already attached to the frame/housing.. otherwise you have to unglue your current housing from your broken screen, and then re-glue it to the new one. (not fun).
