(to clarify earlier) I tried erasing everything to free up memory... The "sent mail" folder contains copies of all the photos that have been emailed - this is what is taking up the memory. As of 8/2014, I'm still using my n8, with no more memory issues.

The "sent mail" folder contains copies of all the photos that have been emailed - this is what is taking up the memory. Delete the contents of that folder and you will get your space back. Believe me, I've tried everything else. As of 8/2014, I'm still using my n8, with no more memory issues.
