MacBook Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz 1GB RAM (2- 512K)
120 GB Hard drive
This one has me baffled. It came in able to boot up to the desktop and the mouse was frozen. The mouse ran fine when booted from 10.5 full retail installation disk. Ran disk utilities - no problems. Repaired permissions till clear. Still mouse is frozen on reboot. Attempted system re-install. Tells me 10.5 cannot be installed and to look at the system requirements. OK The requirements all seem to be there. Install a hard drive with 10.6 pre-installed and all seems fine, mouse is operational. Hook up original drive to external adapter and zero out format it and give it one partition. Start up from install 10.5 and it still says it can't install 10.5 on this machine. Run TechTool Pro 5.0.4 and all is fine, both RAM sticks are good, video RAM is good. Why can't I install 10.5?
