Daisy Smith, yes it could be. It could also be the switch. I suggest that you check the fuses first. It should be in the under the hood fuse box. Fuse is labeled WSW and should be the third fuse from the bottom up on the first column from the right. Post a picture of your fuse box so we can double check that. Hope this helps, good luck.
