I have a kenmore 110 series washer with exactly the same issue. When the spin cycle engages, there is this terribly loud knocking noise and when the cycle completes, my clothes are still wet. The drum/ tub still moves no problem in the wash cycle. So is this a symptom that I should get the belt replaced or is it a transmission issue?
