Seperating the touch glass from the LCD screen?

I read the tear down for the Surface RT and have a good idea of what to expect.

But the one thing that was left out was how to separate the Touch Glass from the LCD screen?

I just dropped my RT and have cracked the glass and the touch digitizer isn't working properly (LCD display is fine). I have found a replacement glass digitizer on eBay for a reasonable price, but at the end of the tear down it says:

"LCD and glass are fused together and strongly adhered to the case, increasing cost of replacement."

and

"You'll have to use a heat gun and lots of patience to gain access to the glass and LCD."

But I can't locate a guide on how to separate the two for either replacement. Help?
