Not a terribly complicated task, check the wiring on the driver (speaker) and the small circuit board. Use a multimeter to test for continuity between your audio plug and the driver and make sure that you have no break in the wire. Let us know about your decision so that we can help you further if needed. I do have a couple of sets of the Triport OE and could make a "quick and dirty guide" to assist you with that. Post an image of your headphones with your question. That way I could compare your headphone to mine and see if they are at least similar.
