when taking middle metal frame plate by the power connection on left side of ipod i got a paiter putty knife to slide between the ribbon cable and metal frame. this keeps it from being glude to back of plate. when plate is off i use a small amount of superglue jell tolock down ribbon cable so it doesnt tear when connecting ribbon cable for digitizer
