butchg12, sounds like your power button is starting to fail. The power button for this model has its separated board and power flex. The part number for that should be NBX0000UR00 and [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKVljMrPmCE|this video] should help with the disassembly. Even so it is not for an identical laptop, but the NE series should open the same. Hope this helps, good luck.
