Hi, i m trying to fix up my mute switch. i opened it all and now im trying to close it back. and i m stuck now.. there is an L shaped metal strip attached to mute switch which sets on volume up button screw

can u tell me if that strip is to be inserted under the volume buttons or that strip comes over the top volume buttons? plz reply quick and fast .thanks
