Yeah unfortunately the Home Button seems to fail on most iPhones and iPads.

Personally I've only ever owned one Apple product, which was the iPhone 4, both the home button and wifi stopped working after about 12 months.

I just ditched it and changed over to Android (which I prefer). My first and last Apple product.

Anyway I still wish you the best of luck with it.
