To repair it you may have to extrapolate from the existing PowerShot teardowns available.  Here's the best information I could find:  http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/10/other-disassembly-guides.html  This is the main problem I see with the idea of Repair 2.0, the information is just not published on most devices.
