Mine was just outside of the 4 year warranty as well.
Looking for another solution without having to remove the entire screen with a razor blade.
Also, to the posters above who are whining and complaining about how inappropriate it is that Apple will not cover defects in their machine past 4 years, I wonder what it is exactly that would make these people happy. Do they expect Apple to cover their machines forever? 4 years and a special warranty program is eons better than what most companies will offer for coverage and reimbursement and making good on a faulty part. The entitlement of people just baffles me.
