Hi Guys,
I have an Apple 2TB time machine in which the reset button on the back in damaged and I am unable to reset it so that it can rejoin my home network. I want to remove the HDD and install it another enclosure and use as a backup external HDD. Apple do not repair these, as you probably know.
If there is no breakdown manual and/or video can you suggest the safest way to break open the TM and retrieve the HDD from it?
Also, can you suggest a suitable enclosure that I could use to house the guts of the TM?
Many thanks for your help.
Cheers
Roger
